Muy husband chose the Angie's list coupon for a Garage door tune up & quiet roller installation. Barry, the technician, called us to say he would be on-time after I was informed he'd be later than scheduled, and he was as courteous as could be. He inspected the door, mechanism and parts, pointed out some parts that were wearing, and work that probably should be done, but there was no hard sell to do the work. He priced out the extra repair (that I truly believe is in our near future)and proceeded to do the work specified on the coupon. Will no doubt return to request Barry for the repair. One of my BEST experiences with an Angie's list coupon vendor EVER!

My experience with Precision was excellent. Service was very professional and timely. My call was answered by a live person on a Sunday evening and a service tech was at my house early Monday morning. I received an email appointment confirmation and the service tech (Derrick)called when he was in route to my house. Derrick is an excellent technician, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The service could not have been better.

I had a garage inspection performed which I had purchased through an Angie's List big deal. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and Barry actually showed up early, after the office called to ensure that would be okay. He was very personable, performed the coupon work, then also recommended safety cables since I have small children. When my husband returned home, he went through all the information he had found during his inspection and his recommendations a second time. He also took the time to show my 3 year old daughter the rollers in his tool box which she was curious about and let her have a couple to play with. I would highly recommend this company as my experience with them was stream-lined and extremely professional.

Purchased 25 point garage door safety check (advertised on Angies List Big Deal). Derrick arrived on-time and was very professional and pleasant. He told us about the service he would be performing and happily answered all our questions regarding garage door maintenance. His service call was completed in about a half hour and the door operates better now than when it was new. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Precision for all garage door maintenance. Very nice group of folks to do business with. A+ rating !

Found you thru Angie's List. Appreciate seeing and knowing who the service personnel are before arrival. Derrick was prompt, professional, and personable. I also appreciate having a two-hour block as to when to expect someone to arrive; rather than some half-daay or all-day time blocks. I have mentioned/referred your company to a family member, should garage door service be required in the future. Incidentally, I had routine tune-up and quite rollers this time.

I purchased The 21 point tune-up on Angie's list. I left my gym training session early to be here at 8 since i was told I was the first appointment. Your tech arrived at 1045 and spent 15 minutes on my door. At the Angie's list price of $125, I guess that means your service is worth $500 an hour. For the first time in my life, I didn't tip. I surely didn't get my $$ worth on this one.

We apologize for your inconvenience. We try hard to stay within our two hour window, but sometimes traffic becomes an issue. Your technician performed a 25 point safety check and lubed your door, along with replacing the rollers. He is an expert in this field and performs this jobs many times a day. We do not apologize for our rapid response to getting work done, we just make sure it is done correctly.

I had to have one torsion spring replaced and the technician informed me that BOTH have to be replaced to do the job. Alan is a nice guy and did a good job but when I received the final bill, it was $495, much higher than what was quoted. Also, my research shows such springs sell for $49 at Home Depot. I was expecting to pay $250 for springs, service and repair. I could not care less about a 3 year warranty. Work was in Annapolis (Not on your list of choices)

Thank you for your review. I spoke with our manager and with Alan. Alan explained the work that was needed, and the importance of having both springs replaced, after he did the safety check. Spring prices have gone up 12 times in the last year. Home Depot does sell springs, but they are extension springs, and not torsion springs. Our springs are 30,000 cycle springs, unlike others that are 5-10,000 cycles. Alan also indicated you were aware of the cost of repair and signed and initialed prior to work being completed. Please understand that we make sure our customers are fully aware of the cost of repair, and agree to work prior to the beginning of any work being done. With that said, please know that you can feel comfort in knowing that your new springs will work well with your garage door! Thank you for your business.

I have never been more pleased. Derrick was early and solved the problem in a few minutes. Reassembled, tested, and lubricated my system. Mentioned a couple of things I should keep an eye on and was on his way. After a week of accomplishing nothing except a visit to the emergency room, all is as it should be. Derrick was professional and courteous. I should have called Precision first!

Although the timeframe window was not met, I did receive a call stating that the tech was running late. Derrick arrived and assessed the repairs needed for the garage door. I was very pleased with how the service call was handled from beginning to end. When I had a problem with making an appointment to have a garage door tune-up later in the month, the person went ahead and fit me in that week. Derrick showed up a little late that day (some jobs took longer than expected) but the company had called me twice earlier to warn that he was delayed and Derrick himself apologized for being late. Then he got right to work and did a tune-up plus ... after consulting with me ... replaced the "rollers" on the garage door. The door now opens really smoothly and quietly.
