The torsion spring on my garage door broke on a Sunday morning. I did some searching online and found Precision -- I was impressed that the majority of the reviews were positive, and that for every negative (1 star) review -- somebody had tried to respond to the person who complained. I called on Sunday and had an appointment set up for Monday morning. Barry called us about 25 minutes before he arrived to let us know he was on his way. He clearly explained the options to repair the door and how much everything would cost. He was polite, professional, and had the door working within an hour. He did not have the parts to fix the outside handle, but we expect that he will contact us within a day or two to get that fixed -- and in the meantime, at least the door works again!

Was charged $510 for a torsion spring replacement and center bearing. This was after supplying the $15 online coupon. Friend at work had same job done for under $200. You look on line on ask.com and they say same thing. Parts $30 each plus $65 labor. Not sure where the other $300 came from since he was only here 45 minutes to do the job.

The advertising for Precision is one of the most professional I've seen. Beyond that, the technician, Barry, was a 10+, according to my husband. The spring in the door broke and it fell at 8:30 Friday night. It was back up and functional by 10:00 Saturday morning. Barry called first, was on-time, thorough and helpful. I'm upset that I had to pay a service call fee for you to replace the springs on my garage door. The springs had been replace and was still under warrant. This does not make any sense. I understand about paying for the labor for the installation of the springs but not for a services call for warrant work.

Gentleman arrived within window, called ahead. Gave estimate beforehand and garaged works great. Always wondered if reviews on site were accurate and I can tell you they are. Recently my garage door began to act up, and I became somewhat alarmed. I was fit in on the schedule early the next day, and Derrick came to work on the door. He did a full inspection, discussed what needed to be done along with providing me costs on each of the options. After I chose the option, he was finished within an hour. Since my garage is not attached to my home and since I have mobility problems, Derrick showed his concern for my having to remain outside with him, suggested that I return to my home, and informed me he would call me when he was done, which he did. The door now moves smoothly from one position to another quietly. Derrick also took the time to explain several things about the garage and the opener that I did not know. Good experience.
