I am a new homeowner. My noisy, struggling garage door opener had not been maintained and was gradually failing. A very polite, knowledgeable tech, Barry C., explained the problem and what happens when they inspect, service, or rebuild. I chose to rebuild (new springs, pulleys, rollers, cables, lube, balancing) and within one hour the opener was purring like a well-oiled machine. Five stars! Thank you!

Wow, Brian had a long day yesterday!! Three or four appointments ahead of mine had unexpected incidents and he was running really late. Precision was really good about keeping me informed and providing options if I couldn't wait around. Brian arrived early in the evening, clearly tired but very pleasant and professional. He went above and beyond with my repair and even spent time adjusting things I didn't know needed adjusted. Called Precision and schedule for next day. Barry was our technician came early (after verifying it was ok) and he did a quick and wonderful job. He replaced a broken torsion spring and bearing in one door and for preventative, did the same on the other non broken door. I could of done it myself but would of had to wait on parts and validate installation methods. Would recommend to anyone. He also made some quick recommendations on maintaining the doors and rollers properly before he left.

Excellent service! One of the springs on my double garage door broke and I called four other repair businesses that offered emergency service, but none could come out that day. I then called Precision and they had a technician, Garry, out in a couple of hours. Garry was fantastic. He was worked quickly and replaced both springs and was finished within 40 minutes. He also answered some questions I had on maintenance. It's been three weeks now and I've intentionally delayed writing this review just in case anything went wrong, but nothing has. Our garage door opener had been broken for years. Finally the door itself failed and was stuck in a closed position. Selected "Precision" due to favorable reviews on HomeAdvisor. The inquiry was sent on a Saturday and had an almost immediate response by email and phone. Customer service was courteous and set up an appointment on the same day (Saturday). Our technician Brian was great. He responded within the appointment time, calling to give us a 30 minute notice. He quickly accessed the problem, answered all of our questions and provided a detailed estimate. In addition to providing the needed door repair (springs, center bearing and rollers) we opted to have a Liftmaster 8550 garage door opener installed. After the installation Brian demonstrated the operation of the opener and even entered the code for the opener at our request. The area was left clean. We could not be more pleased with the service provided and our new garage door opener!

I just wanted to thank Berry and Jordan for catching a potential problem with my garage opener. I call to have the rubber seal on the bottom of my garage door replaced. Berry observed that my drive train was slack. He went check the drive train assembly and informed me that it needed to be replace. He did a very good job explaining the issue so I could understand the seriousness of the problem without over selling it. I appreciated his concern and asked him to replace the drive train assembly to avoid a future problem. Thank you Berry.

So glad I chose Precision. After reading reviews and having Barry come out earlier than expected (after he called of course) I am happy with the results. Barry took the time to explain why he chose the springs he recommended, (which were more expensive than i expected--Haley said the prices were 140-240--mine were 250...each) The springs were powder coated, rated for 85k cycles, and he put one original strength and one extra strength spring in -- based on his experience. He also found bearings going bad as well. I'm a DIY guy, and Barry explained the what and why's of everything he did. He also explained the maintenance I can do to help extend the life of the system. You guys are great!

Its not very often that I get to say I was very impressed with a repair contractor but I certainly was. Barry was right on time (called 30 minutes ahead to let us know he was on his way), he was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and got the job done quickly and flawlessly. The garage door has never worked better! I think I can safely say this is the best service I have ever had from a contractor. $440 (including parts) was not exactly cheap to replace the springs on a double garage door (changed from single spring to double spring system and replaced bearing) but I think it was worth it to get the job done properly. My family recently purchased 2 garage doors and one garage door opener, for the left garage door. We are thoroughly pleased. It's refreshing to witness the "quiet hum" of the doors opening and closing. Recently, we experienced difficulties opening and closing the left garage door. The door functions properly when using the control button on the wall inside the garage. However, the left door rarely functions properly when using the remote.
