Mike arrived within two hours of the call and immediately pinpointed the problem - a loose wire caused by a broken gear box. He replaced the gear box, fixed the wire, lubricated the chain and the side tracks and the door is working like new. I am so pleased with your service and your willingness to come out so quickly. The tracks on my garage door were accidentally bent on one side causing my garage door to literally roll off the tracks. (Side note.... don't try fixing an overhead door yourself.... its more complicated than you can imagine.) At 5 pm I called and was scheduled for the next morning service. Derrick and his assistant came out. Instantly, Derrick took charge. An outstanding quality! I could tell he had 12 years of experience in Overhead repair and customer service. He communicated what needed to be done and went to work. At each point of the process, he communicated what he was doing and assured me my garage was going to be back to normal. The truth is.... he put it back better than normal. He tightened a few cable wires and now the garage rolls up better than it did before. Derrick Thank you! I would actually make this 4.5 stars if I could. I called, very last-minute after another garage door repair company canceled on me, late on a day when the weather was particularly brutal and still managed to get someone from Precision to come over and fix our garage that very evening. The work seems to be holding up, and the technician was very pleasant. I am subtracting 1/2 a star because he brought the ladder through our house and took a chunk out of the trim around our dining room entrance (which I now have to sand and repaint) and also because the price seemed a bit high compared to what our research had us expecting. Overall, however, we were grateful for the emergency visit, the work seems well-done, and both the receptionist answering the phones and technician doing the work were very pleasant to work with.
